With Night jet you sleep as you travel and reach your destination rested and refreshed. You have options between three comfort categories: Your own Regular or Deluxe sleeper compartment, the couchette car for use by your group or an inexpensive single berth in a multi-berth compartment or the seated car with compartments with 6 seats or roomy open-saloon cars with reclining seats.

Single, Double or Three-Bed compartments:
UK 1st class Up to three can travel conveniently through the night in one compartment. Many technical details ensure a pleasant, comfortable journey, even when the compartment is fully booked. These include beds whose height can be adjusted, with improved access, non-slip floors, large, illuminated mirrors, handles and an extra folding seat (only in the Deluxe compartment) and even an individual wake-up call. If you would like even more space and comfort, you can convert two adjacent compartments into a suite for up to six passengers by means of a combining door. You can combine two Economy compartments or one Economy and one Deluxe compartment. Please note that all passengers have to have a 1st class ticket if you book a combination of Deluxe and Economy.

Many seats have laptop power points and specially designated areas provide interference-free enhanced mobile phone reception. Look out for the mobile phone symbols in the carriages.

Quiet zones are reserved for passengers who want to travel in peace. Experience the feeling of being personally attended to in 1st class. Our specially designated staff are there to welcome you with a smile and help you with any questions you may have regarding your seat or luggage.

The Couchette car
Couchette cars are ideal for bigger groups and families since it is price saving. Each compartment has room for up to 6 people. You can book individual berths or an entire compartment, keeping in mind that when you book, for example, 4 seats in a T6 cabin it is possible that the other 2 seats will be purchased by another travelers. When you book an individual berth, the compartment is shared with others travellers. There is no division by sex, but rest asured, City Night Line provides a safe enviroment for their travellers and those cabins are just like when you travel by plane and share the plane with everyone else.

2nd Class seated car - Travel overnight at low fare
The seated car is the cheapest comfort class on City Night Line. It´s seat configuration resembles a plane, but more confortable.

Washing and toilet facilities are located in each car.

Ticketless - How use your etickets:

As soon as your booking has been processed, you will receive a booking confirmation, including a PNR number (reservation code) , by email.

How retrieve your etickets at train station:
To begin with, Thalys tickets will offer 2 types of E-tickets: Print at Home (Printt@Home) and Print at the Station (Print@Station) tickets. You confirmation email will list what type of ticket you have.

Print@Home tickets are exactly as stated. They are documents that could be printed at home. They will show a QR-CODE an all you have to do is to print the ticket details you receive at your confirmation email. Make sure the QR-CODE is visible. Print@Home will be mandatory for any Thalys train departing from any city besides Paris.

Print@Station tickets are as easy as the other option, but instead of printing tickets at home you will use a kiosk at the train station. Only Thalys trains departing from Paris will offer a Print@Station option. The Kiosks for e-tickets are placed all over the station. Just touch the Welcome Screen on the YELLOW self-service kiosks. For English, select the British flag. Select “File and Electronic Ticket withdrawal.” Next, select “Withdrawal with a file reference number”. You will also see 2 other options, however the only option available to you is “Withdrawal with a file reference number.” Enter your e-ticket confirmation code or PNR at the prompt for “ticket file number” and select “confirm.” Your e-ticket confirmation code or PNR is a 6 character letter combination unique to your trip, and is in the email confirmation you received from Euro Railways.

Enter the traveler’s last name at the prompt and select “confirm”.
Review displayed trip and select “Collect the chosen journey.” Wait for tickets to be printed and retrieve them from the kiosk.

Prior to boarding your train, you must validate a Print@Station ticket (composter). The “Composter Machine” are located in the station near the tracks.

Please note: there may be multiple e-ticket confirmation codes for your itinerary.
Important: Arrive at the train station at least 45 minutes prior to your departure time to print your tickets and board your train. Print at the station e-tickets for French trains need to be issued from a train station in France. If you have a roundtrip ticket, issue both the outbound and return trip at the same time from your station of origin. If you fail to do so and are traveling outside of France, you will find yourself unable to print your return train ticket.

e) All tickets are subject to confirmation. The tickets have a variable horizon for booking, normally 60 to 90 days within trip date. A booking confirmation will be sent as soon as the booking have been processed.
f) All fares are per person in US Dollars, subject to to change before the booking processing
g) E-tickets: The way for retrieve or use instructions will be sent with the booking confirmation by email. The tickets should be retrieved and printed at train station or printed at home as instructed in booking confirmation.
h) Physical Tickets (optional): The tickets are sent by FedEx, with the selected shipping option to the informed shipping address.

    Amsterdam Centraal station is the largest railway station of Amsterdam, Netherlands, and a major national railway hub.     Schiphol Airport station is a major passenger railway station in Haarlemmermeer, Netherlands. It is located directly beneath the terminal complex of Amsterdam Airport Schiphol and is operated by the Nederlandse Spoorwegen. The station's six platforms are accessible via twelve escalators and three elevators located in the main concourse of the airport (Schiphol Plaza).     For the greater comfort of disabled passengers Thalys offer some specific advantages: assistance in the station, a personalised welcome on board the train and the hire of specially adapted vehicles with Europcar.

    ICE - DB Bahn Assistance
    Passengers with reduced mobility can now order Deutsche Bahn's Mobility Service even more easily. Whoever needs assistance with boarding, alighting or changing trains during their journey - for example a wheelchair platform lift - can do so conveniently with immediate effect on the Internet as well.

    The local service staff will be pleased to assist you when boarding, alighting or changing trains. Owing to the short stopping times however, they are unable to accompany you to your seat.
