 Combine
the best of both worlds: train and car on
your trip to Europe is an excellent option. Take the train for
long-distance journeys, and use the car to short trips and explore the countryside of
the surrounding areas.
Advantage: You rent the car for just the day you need it, one day at
a time. Plus, many Hertz rental locations are located at or near the train
station.
Note:
All Rail/Drive packages include unlimited mileage,
basic liability and local tax within the country of rental. Special
prices for third and fourth person's sharing the same car are available.
Car rentals are available in Economy, Compact, and Intermediate
categories with manual transmission, and Compact category with automatic
transmission. Reservations are confirmed only by car group and not by
car model.
Reservations
Reservations must be confirmed with Hertz, and
it is suggested that this be done before your departure. You
can call 1-800-654-3001 in the USA or at 1-800-263-0600 in Canada to reserve a car.
