The north-south Alpine crossing from Chur to Lugano offers breathtaking views from the new panoramic cars as you travel over boldly curved viaducts, through winding tunnels and past ice-age glaciers. From Tirano, the excursion continues in modern buses through the Valtelina Valley to Lugano (only in summer, from May 24 to October 12).

Route:

Chur - Albula Valley - Pontresina - Bernina Pass - Poschiavo - Tirano - Lugano.

Thanks to large windows extending to the top of the train, travelers are able to enjoy excellent panoramic views. Air-conditioning provides for comfortable, draft-free trips. (Windows are sealed).

Notes:

1. Passholder: valid for all Swiss Railpass, Eurailpass, Eurail Select (incl. Switzerland)
2. Passholder fares: will be counted one day pass
3. Refund policy:
   Only Full fare tickets are refundable. Reservation fees are not refundable.
   Refund will only be paid if a ticket is returned to Euro Railways, within 9 months of issuance totally unused prior to validation. Are subject to 15% cancellation fee.
4. Exchange policy:
   Exchange can only be performed by Euro Railways.
   To exchange a ticket: buy a new ticket and then send the unused one back for a refund.
5. Passport required for border crossings.
