c) Seat Reservations (Passholder fare): Requires a valid rail pass. We only can book it for travelers who have purchased their rail passes through our company.
d) All tickets are subject to confirmation. The tickets have a variable horizon for booking, normally 60 to 90 days within trip date. A booking confirmation will be sent as soon as the booking have been processed.

1st Class Travel: A quiet atmosphere, ample space and comfortable seating await you on board our IC services – ideal for working or relaxing
In 1st Class you can use your time constructively by preparing for a business meeting or use the time simply to relax. If you want to take the opportunity to work while travelling, there is a desk available at your seat that can be used for business activities between your destinations. The spacious and comfortable seating offers lots of legroom and ample distance from your neighbours.
On Board Catering
DB Bahn restaurant cars and catering on board are developing the quality and variety of cuisine available on high-speed networks. Sip a beer or enjoy a French gourmet cheese platter while travelling to your destination. ICE trains , some EC trains and most IC trains have a bistro offering light snacks and meals. A wide selection of hot and cold drinks are also available. On many trains, the staff also serve passengers with light snacks and drinks at their seats.
Lost & Found
Should you misplace something on the train or at the station, we recommend that you report this to the lost and found department. Retroactive reports from up to four weeks prior to the current date and will be make thorough searches upon receiving your report. Should we locate the misplaced item, we will contact you immediately.
Assistance to Passengers with Reduced Mobility
Passengers with reduced mobility can now order Deutsche Bahn's Mobility Service even more easily. Whoever needs assistance with boarding, alighting or changing trains during their journey - for example a wheelchair platform lift - can do so conveniently with immediate effect on the Internet as well.
